| 01/12/06 18:08 | Despite being only 5'2" and weighing a frumpy 16 stone, Matty "The Mouth" Robinson has impressed his fellow players with several high quality goals in training and string of offensive purple shirts which don't fit very well due to his very small arms. Matty's brashness and confidence are prevelant elements of his game and are highlighted by his attempts to bust his way on to a changing room bench inhabited by 3 unwelcoming Blues veterans. An ability to burst in to the box will surely start bringing goals whether he is employed in central or left-sided positions as soon as he starts shooting to score rather than prevent counter-attacks. Catz nickname 'Reginald Hectic' has not really crossed over into the Blues arena where 'Mouth' has become the standard partly thanks to a song to the tune of 'Mack the Knife' developed by Robinson's perceived scourge Jack Hazzard, a man whose scything humour Robinson doesn't always appreciate. Matty has somehow managed to procure an old school OUAFC tracksuit top which he wears with pride, but only in the safety in his native St Catherine's. His team mates are divided as to why Matty has decided not to wear the top to training yet. His Cooper Test time of 12:01 was not enough to win him a free meal from OUAFC Captain Owen Price, but did mean he lost 9lbs in a single day. |
