Biography
Despite matriculating in 2001 Perky is still an undergraduate. He has been a member of OUAFC for as long as anyone in the club can remember.
He made his mark in the 2003/4 Centaurs double-winning season, in which he made direct free-kicks his speciality with either foot. Despite being one of the Centaurs' best players, he was on the bench for the Centaurs Varsity match to allow accommodate the St John's duo Duncan Mulholland and Sam Banks in centre midfield. He was drafted into the blues squad for their Varsity match and came on for the last 30 seconds of the match to earn his blue. He cemented his place in the blues side the next season, with a superb array of passing and some tough tackling in the centre of the park.
He began the 2005/6 season in similar vein but his season was cut short tragically as he broke his leg in the Blues' first BUSA league game, an injury that has plagued him since and from which he is still recovering.
"Perky" is not a big fan of business cards.
